OPEN UP! Berger+Parkkinen Architects have planned another building for the Paracelsus University in Salzburg. The arcades and large arches of the new pharmaceutical institute building are particularly eye-catching. Alfred Berger comments: "In the new university building, we used the arches to highlight the free space on the ground floor. It can be felt that this is a "gift" to the users, that there is a lot of free space for different uses."
The new pharmaceutical institute and teaching building is equipped with high-tech laboratories, research facilities of the latest generation, modern lecture halls, practice laboratories, microscopy rooms and a practice pharmacy.
